Original Design

Milestone Reached!

On Saturday, April 30^th Scott Martinez and his Friar's Engineering John Deere Gator race team accomplished a major milestone. Scott shared "when we finished the race, we became the first John Deere Gator to finish a long distance desert race. Not bad considering John Deere's recent entry into this market".

The Desert Bilek Racing Silver State 300 desert race in Alamo Nevada near Las Vegas is the 2^nd race in the Best in the Desert racing circuit. On the start line were 16 race cars in the Pro UTV class representing 5 UTV manufacturers. The race started well for Scott's team. The first 100 miles were uneventful until a minor problem cost the team some time at pit 2. At mile 115 another problem cost the team even more time. However, in the end the John Deere XUV825i finished the 303 mile course in 10^th place out of 16 in class.

The John Deere 825i Gator, Fox Shoxs, Douglas Wheels and Tires, PRP Seats, KC Hilites HID Lights, Team Clutch, Tire Balls, Odyssey Battery, FMF Exhaust and IMS Fueling system all performed flawlessly without any problems. Without these products and support of AA Equipment, AROS Trailer Supply, Racer X motorsports, Chula Vista Electric and Phoenix Specialty Printing this result would not have been possible.

The third race in the Best of the Desert race will be in the Desert BlueWater Gran Prix by Epic in Parker Arizona. May the 14^th will be here before you know it; and Scott and his team look forward to another milestone!
